dear college gods,

really? cancelling summer semester, altogether? don't you think this is getting a little ridiculous? tuition is already a rape, the already thin class selection continues to narrow, and the fact that ALL classes fill up within a couple of days is kinda aggravating seeing as the athletes, disabled students, and poor students get to register before everyone. that's kind of a large group of people, college gods. what is left for the rest of us? what is weird to me is that i'm pretty sure you don't make money when students aren't paying tuition... so why would you cancel a semester causing NO one to pay tuition? no wonder you are broke! i find it very (un)comforting that you say, "we do not ANTICIPATE having to cancel Fall semester." did you anticipate cancelling summer? because i'm pretty sure you've been telling people (me) for the last MONTH that, "the schedule will be up any minute now!". i'm sorry you haven't a penny to your name, but you're screwing up my education.

(more) sincerely (than you know),

a frustrated co-ed

p.s. no one in my family appreciates your "rejection of financial aid" letters. stop sending them.

  1. If they're getting financial aid then they should be in the back of the line... why in the world do they get to go AHEAD of people paying out their pockets? BYU went by Credits... whoever had more credits registered first, since they had less classes left to take and had the pre-reqs for the higher classes... that's lame. Sorry :(
